  XInput poller in internal/controller emits:
  controller:state {connected: bool}
  controller:button {button: "a|b|x|y|start|back|lb|rb"}
  controller:nav {dir: "up|down|left|right"} -- with 350ms initial / 120ms repeat

  Sidebar shows a 🎮 chip when connected. Dashboard tiles get roving-focus
  keyboard nav driven by the d-pad / left stick; A opens the drawer, B
  closes it, Start cycles the top-level pages.
