Windows passwordless auto-logon via netplwiz launcher
release / Build Windows .zip (push) Canceled after 0sreleased this
2026-05-27 20:43:14 +03:00 | 65 commits to main since this releaseinternal/autologin doesn't touch the user's password — it only:
- Checks/sets HKLM...\PasswordLess\Device\DevicePasswordLessBuildVersion
to 0 so the "Users must enter a user name and password..." checkbox
re-appears in netplwiz on Win11 22H2+ (Win10 / older Win11 already
show it). Reg write goes through ShellExecuteEx("runas") so it
gets one UAC prompt, no elevation of our main process. - Launches netplwiz so the user types their password into the OS UI
and Windows stores it encrypted in LSA secrets — much safer than
the legacy AutoAdminLogon plain-text registry hack.
Settings UI gets a new "Авто-вход Windows" section with explainer +
single "🔓 Настроить авто-вход" button.Downloads
