2026-06-21 11:08:28 +03:00 During a runtime cluster join, persistRaftIdentityLocked runs inside
ActivateRaft before the join handler writes the (placeholder) secrets to
.env. WriteConfigFile re-formats the whole .env and refuses with
"JWT_SECRET is required" when the secret is empty, logging a spurious
error each activation. Skip the persist when JWT_SECRET/REFRESH_SECRET
are absent from the env; the secret reconciler persists identity once the
cluster-shared secrets land.Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 noreply@anthropic.com
